Hloni Media is an event photography and videography business based in Johannesburg. We cover events held at a booked venue, and turn them into photographs, a finished film and printed keepsakes you'll want to hold on to.
A big event is easy to lose: the speeches, the entrances, the laughter, the people in the background. Photographs freeze the moments. Video keeps the movement, the sound and the atmosphere. We bring both together so you get the whole story, not just a folder of files.
Too often an event ends up with one supplier for photos, another for video, and a tug-of-war over who stands where. With Hloni Media, both are planned together from the first conversation.

Pricing is confirmed after a short conversation about your event. Raw files and framing are not included unless agreed. Coverage under 3 hours or beyond 6 hours is quoted separately.

Who is Hloni Media for?
Hosts of events held at a booked venue (weddings, matric dances, graduations, conferences and corporate functions) who want the photographs, the film and the prints from one team.
What's included in every package?
Event photography, an edited video, 5 A3 prints, 30 A4 prints and a USB with your final files.
How is my price worked out?
After we chat about your event, you complete a short project questionnaire. The quotation reflects your coverage time, locations, video requirements and editing.
Do I get the raw photos and footage?
Raw files aren't included unless we agree otherwise. You receive the finished, edited photographs and video.
My event is shorter than 3 hours or longer than 6.
No problem. Those events are quoted separately. Tell us the details and we'll put together an arrangement that fits.
Can you record full speeches?
Yes, but it's a different job from a highlight film. Tell us what you need and we'll scope it before the event.
What don't you offer?
We keep our offer focused on venue-based events rather than saying yes to everything. If your event falls outside that, ask us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
Where are you based?
Johannesburg. If your event is elsewhere in South Africa, get in touch and we'll talk logistics.

- Photographs and video taken at events we are booked to cover.

- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and arrange bookings.
- To deliver agreed photographs, video and prints.
Portfolio and marketing
We only publish identifiable photographs or video of clients or their guests in our portfolio or marketing with permission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Form submissions are handled by Formspree. We may use printing, storage and hosting providers to deliver your project. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical information such as your IP address.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and project files from loss and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
